Welcome Brothers and Sisters to New Beginnings Church!

2219 Spring Avenue Banner

New Beginnings Church opened its doors in Jeffersonville in March, 2010.  We have quickly grown from a congregation of 5 people meeting in a smokey bingo hall to a congregation of over 100 quickly outgrowing our sanctuary.  We have been very blessed to be a part of the Jeffersonville community since we opened our doors and to be serving Southern Indiana and the Louisville area.

Now, we are in a new PERMANENT church home!!!  Our new address is 2219 Spring Avenue in New Albany, IN.

New Beginnings Church is a very diverse church, where ALL people are welcome, accepted, and loved!  I would like to invite you to visit us for one of our inspirational and uplifting services!  Join us Sunday mornings for Bible Study and bring your kids for Children’s Church at 9:30 a.m.  Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m.   Come early, and join us for coffee and fellowship!

We are also bringing back our Wednesday night Worship Service and will also have Youth Group on Wednesdays…both at 6:30 p.m.

New Beginnings Church is very active in the community.  We supply food and clothing to the needy; we participate in community clean up; we help people with yard work; and numerous other activities.

New Beginnings schedules and hosts numerous social activities, so please check back here often!  We are not just a “church”…we are a “family…and our “family” wants YOU to join us!

If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 812-595-0571.

Serving with enthusiasm,
Pastor Tracy Patton

New Beginnings Church Has A New Home!!!

After nearly nine and a half years of renting space in Jeffersonville, NBC has moved into a our new church home!  Our new church is located at 2219 Spring Avenue in New Albany.  Although we’ve moved out of Jeffersonville for the first time, we are excited to be relocating to a new community and making lots of new friends.

Our Board of Directors has done an amazing job of guiding us through this process and we have so many of you to thank for contributing to our Building Fund to raise the amount needed for the down payment.  We have no doubts that God opened this door for us and we cannot wait to see what He has in store for our church.

We’ll have Bible Study and Youth Group each Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m. and our Worship Service is at 10:30 a.m.  We’ll also have Wednesday night Worship at 6:30 p.m. and Children’s Church on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., too.

Come and join us!

Small Group Studies

Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. (Pitch-In Meal), 6:30 p.m. (Small Group Study) at Marci & Beth’s home, 1501 McTavish Drive, Clarksville.  The Topic will change each week.  For more information on ordering Books and Workbooks, contact Marci or Beth.  IS TAKING A BREAK. WE ARE NOT SURE OF A RESTART DATE BUT WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.

Thursdays – 11:00 a.m. –  Guided Meditation each Thursday at the church.  Great discussions on how to control what thoughts we let take root in our minds, and then traveling to beautiful, peace-filled places deep within us.  Contact Kathy Lincoln for more information.

Fridays at 6:00 p.m. (Pitch-In Meal), 6:30 p.m. (Small Group Study) at the church. Topic: Learn more about Jesus in the series “The Jesus I Thought I Knew”.  In this video-based study, the drama and immediacy of motion pictures are used to compare well- and little-known film portraits of Jesus with the Jesus of the Bible.  In each session, you’ll obtain fresh, uncluttered perspectives on history’s central figure—his radical claims, his challenging teachings, and his effect on others . . . including you.  You’ll make life-changing discoveries about God, the Bible, and yourself.  Best of all, you’ll come face-to-face with the most compelling, creative, challenging, fearless, unpredictable, and ultimately satisfying person anyone can know: Jesus Christ.  There are a reading book and workbook that will enhance your study, but is definitely not required for your participation.  IS TAKING A BREAK. WE ARE NOT SURE OF A RESTART DATE BUT WILL KEEP YOU POSTED.

Praise & Worship Team

Our Praise & Worship team is comprised of a variety of talented vocalists who currently lead our worship singing.  They perform an eclectic mix of contemporary Christian songs and modern arrangements of traditional hymns.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is held every Sunday morning during services. Children are welcomed to join us in the sanctuary for song service and will be dismissed before the sermon to join their peers for a fun activity to help them connect with age-appropriate biblical teachings. All of our children’s church volunteers have passed a criminal background check.
